No. 9 2019 Prospect Dylan Pallonetti Commits to Maryland

Five Star attackman and the number nine ranked player in the 2019 class, according to Inside Lacrosse, Dylan Pallonetti has committed to Maryland. The Ward Melville (NY)/ LI Express – 2019 attackman decommitted from UMass just recently before deciding on the Terps. Pallonetti is the highest rated player in Maryland’s 2019 recruiting class and the only 5-star.
Pallonetti helped lead Ward Melville to a NYPHSAA Class A state championship last spring as he had 74 points (53G,21A) during his junior season. Pallonetti is a phenomenal scorer as he has a knack for finding the back of the cage. He also has a great lacrosse IQ, crisp passing, great stick, and has the ability to go up against almost any defender as he plays much bigger than he actually is. Pallonetti should be able to contribute pretty regularly once he gets to College Park.
As the only 5-star in Maryland’s 2019 recruiting class Pallonetti joins a class that is currently rated 2nd in the country. Maryland’s 2019 recruiting class is highlighted by 11 4-star prospects in LSM Justin Sherrer, midfielder Michael Mines, attackman Ryan Siracusa, LSM Connor Whalen, attackman Jake Brennan, Faceoff man Connor Calderone, attackman Daniel Maltz, midfielder Dawson Wynne, goalie Logan McNaney, and defenseman Kelan Duff. Maryland also has three players that aren’t currently ranked in their 2019 recruiting class.
Pallonetti immediately ups that Maryland 2019 recruiting class a the number 9th ranked player in the county and the only 5-star currently committed to the Terps.
