No. 96 2020 Prospect Quinn Armstrong Commits to Lehigh

The number 96 junior Quinn Armstrong from Westminster (CT)/ Juiced Cherries – 2020 has committed to Lehigh. The 4-star attackman/midfielder committed to Lehigh over schools such as Notre Dame, Virginia, Penn State, Loyola, and others. Armstrong is the 10th player to commit to Lehigh in the 2020 class, and the second 4-star to do so.

Armstrong is a big lefty who has a knack for finding the back of the cage. During his sophomore season at Westminster (CT) Armstrong tallied 43 points (23G, 20A). Armstrong is a great outside shooter and can seemingly find open space to get off a shot anywhere on the field. He is also a threat in transition as he can get away from the D and get set for an outside shot. He also has pretty good vision as well. His passes are very crisp and and he can find an open man at multiple spots on the field. Armstrong transferred to Westminster (CT) last season after playing his freshman year at Gilman (MD).

Armstrong joins a 2020 class at Lehigh that is currently ranked 33rd in the nation. Armstrong is the 10th Lehigh commit in the class of 2020, and the 2nd 4-star. The other 4-star prospect committed to Lehigh is Hill Academy (ON) attackman Matteo Corsi.

The other eight 2020 Lehigh commits include midfielder Freddie Amato our of Ponte Vedra (FL), defenseman John Schofield out of Medfield HS (MA), midfielder Andrew Perry from Xaverian Brothers (MA), defenseman Wilson Carpenter out of St. Augustine Prep (NJ), attackman Scott Cole from McDonogh (MD), faceoff man Rowan Cabahug-Almonte from Malvern Prep (PA), LSM Jack Thistle from Georgetown Prep (MD), and attackman Tommy Bourque out of Ridgewood HS (NJ).
