Drew Kelleher and the Manhattan Jaspers have landed a commitment from 2020 defenseman Mikey Rasa out of Wayne Hills (NJ)/ NJ Riot. Rasa is the second player to commit to Manhattan in the 2020 recruiting cycle.
The 5-foot-8, 160 pound Rasa is a physical on ball defender that can throw a hefty amount of checks on an opposing offensive player. Rasa is able to put the ball on the carpet and force turnovers.
While Rasa is a gritty hard-nosed defender he is also able to take the ball up field and into the offensive box. With his athleticism he also has the skill set to play the LSM position if needed.
Manhattan gains their second commitment in the 2020 recruiting with Rasa. In Manhattan’s 2020 recruiting class Rasa joins Corning (NY) attackman Quinn Bowler.
