Chris Cloutier Traded to Buffalo in Exchange for Ryan Wagner and a 2021 Draft Pick

The Philadelphia Wings and Buffalo Bandits were involved in a trade on Wednesday that sent rookie forward Chris Cloutier to Buffalo and transition player Ryan Wagner to Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Wings will also receive a first round pick in the 2021 NLL draft. 

Cloutier was drafted 2nd overall by Philadelphia in the 2018 NLL draft. The rookie out of  Kitchener, Ont has played in all seven games for the Wings this season. Cloutier is second in points for the Wings thus far with 24 points (13G,23A). 

Wagner signed with Buffalo in free agancy back in August of 2017 and has played two seaons with the Bandits. Prior to playing in Buffalo Wagner spent two seasons in Vancouver. This season Wagner has recorded 14 loose balls and 3 caused turnovers in three games with Buffalo.

This trade sending Cloutier to Buffal and Wagner to Philadelphia is the second trade this week as Colorado sent Stephen Keogh to Rochester on Monday in trade.
