
Scotland is the fourth team to officially announce their roster and coaching staff for the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship (WILC) that will take place in Langley, British Columbia this September.
This 2019 WILC will be the first for Scotland since 2007, which was the last time they competed. The Scottish have played in various other tournament since then. Many play in the Scottish Box Lacrosse League and play for club teams across Scotland that compete in tournaments across Europe.
In 2018 Scotland played in the European Box Lacrosse Invitational (E-Box) over in Prague, Czech Republic. In E-Box Scotland defeated Netherlands and only lost by one goal to Ireland and Switzerland.
Some of the key players that Scotland has on this roster for the 2019 WILC are Tim Mottram, Corrie Bruce, and others. Mottram and Bruce were two of Scotland’s top 10 scorers in the 2018 E-Box event.
