Wow! I’m surprised anyone still has a pules after all those crazy games that went down across the country today.
The biggest storyline was all the big surprises we saw today, especially #7 ranked Hopkins losing to unranked Towson, #13 ranked Lehigh losing to unranked Hofstra, and #4 ranked Loyola dropping #6 ranked Virginia. #18 ranked UMass also lost in overtime to Army and #9 ranked Penn State KILLED Robert Morris.
Some big first happened today as Utah got their first win in program history and St. Bonaventure was able to find the back of the net for the first time as well.
It was a wild weekend and really a wild week as a whole, to say the least. But, this is college lacrosse and it’s just early February so some teams still haven’t played a game yet.
|Road Team||Home Team||Final Score|
|Robert Morris||Penn State||10-27|
|Boston U.||Ohio State||10-17|
|St. Bonaventure||Saint Joseph’s||7-15|
|Delaware||Mount St. Mary’s||11-8|
Loyola defeats Virginia 17-9 behind an impressive showing from Pat Spencer and Kevin Lindley.

Alex Woodall, Brendan Sunday, and Zach Goodrich all helped Towson blow by the Blue Jays with an impressive win to open the season. Don’t sleep on the Tigers.
When you score your sixth goal of the day AND it ties and @NCAALAX record for fastest goal between opponents, it’s obviously going to be the Key Play of the Game, Presented by Hollenshade’s Auto Service.

A 4th quarter comeback and impressive play from Kieran Mullins would help Rutgers escape Queen’s with a skim win over St. John’s.
