The Bellarmine Knights have picked up a commitment from 2019 Irondale (MN) midfielder Parker Freiberg. The 6-foot-1 185 dual-sport athlete played running back in football as well. Freiberg is the ninth player to commit to Bellarmine in the 2019 class, and the third midfielder.
Freiberg is the first player in Irondale lacrosse history to commit to a DI program. The Midfielder is a tough dodger who is able to get through traffic inside and make the tough pass or shot. Freiberg is a good outside shooter who can shoot with his feet set or on the run.
With his aggressiveness he can also run as a defensive midfielder. Freiberg can cause trouble on the defensive end with causing turnovers and jump starting the offense on the fast break.
Bellarmine now has three midfielders committed in the class of 2019 with Freiberg committed. The other two midfielders currently committed are Preston Winner from Elder (OH) and Jesse Roth out of West Chester (PA).
