It’s the first big Tuesday slate of the 2019 college lacrosse season with eight games today. Out of those eight games there are some really good matchups such as Maryland vs Colgate, Richmond vs UMBC, and more.

Tuesday lacrosse is the equivalent of Thursday college football. Team’s that you wouldn’t expect alway are able to showcase themselves and we always see at least a few midweek upset that make you scratch your head.

Marquee Games

Boston U. (2-1) @ Sacred Heart (1-1)

While this isn’t the “sexiest” game of the day it is a great matchup for sure. Both of these squads possess some very talented pieces on the offensive end of the field and we could see a shootout. The Terriers are led by sophomore attackman Chris Gray and Sacred Heart by senior midfielder Max Tuttle. Both teams are “underdogs” in their respective conferences and this one could shape up to be a really good game.

Colgate (2-0) @ Maryland (3-0)

Both of these teams come in to this game undefeated in this young season, but somebody won’t be after today. Colgate has come onto the scene hot with first year head coach Matt Karweck as they took down Syracuse to open the season. Maryland has been very good with a lot of depth, but they have tended to let teams back into games after getting out to big leads. The Terps can’t let that happen here or Sam Cleveland and the Colgate offense could burn Maryland and goalie Danny Dolan.
