Tuesday Preview: Battle on Long Island, Is an Upset Brewing in Maryland?

While one of the best games of the week is a midweek game, it isn’t on this Tuesday slate. Although, this Tuesday should produce some pretty good games as we will see some battles all around.

Some of the best games this week include a battle on Long Island, a showdown in New England, and an in-state Maryland battle with the potential for an upset, as well as some other good games.

Marquee Games

Georgetown @ Mount St. Mary’s

The Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers come into this game looking for the upset and their first win of the season. Georgetown has looked pretty good this year with just one loss, that coming against Towson. The Hoyas, led by Daniel Bucaro look to get back on track here. This has the potential for upset as the Mountaineers have been very close in all of their games thus far with Joe Bethke and others.

Hofstra @ Stony Brook

These two Long Island foes will battle it out on Tuesday night in a game that could go either way. Hofstra is looking to get back on track with that offense led by Ryan Tierney and a pretty solid defense. Stony Brook looked good in their win over Brown on Saturday, and want to keep the trend going against Hofstra.

Bryant @ Boston U.

This could be the best game of the day as Chris Gray and the Terriers welcome the Bulldogs into Boston. Bryant comes in looking to stay on track after two straight wins at the Terriers are wanting to do the same. Both sides have some great defensive units and good offensive threats. It should be a good one, to say the least.
