The Calgary Roughnecks have traded forward Chris Boushy to the Rochester Knighthawks in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NLL draft. Boushy has been with Calgary for all of this season and appeared in 8 games.
Saskatchewan drafted Boushy in third-round of the 2017 draft, but Calgary was the first place where he cracked an NLL roster. Calgary signed Boushy as a free agent after he went to Buffalo Bandits training camp in December.
Through eight games in Calgary Boushy has tallied 14 points (8G,6A). Boushy saw valuable time early on, but once Curtis Dickson came back his time started to diminish a bit.
Boushy can be a good asset in Rochester as the are struggling this season. He gives them a young viable option on that right side, along side some veterans. This trade is just one of four that Rochester has been involved with this week as they keep wheelin’ an dealin’.
