Week four of the Kentucky high school lacrosse season has arrived. This week is fully loaded with good games all week long, including some inter-regional and inter-state battles, as usual with the early season. We will also see two games that feature two top tier teams matching up against each other.

Here are some things to watch for in week two of the high school lacrosse season across the Bluegrass:

GAMES TO WATCH:

Collegiate host Christian Academy (CAL) on Tuesday night at 6pm. This should be a good rematch of what was a one-sided affair towards Collegiate last year.

South Oldham host Trinity on Wednesday at 6:30pm in a matchup that features two of the best teams in the state. This is also a rematch of the 2018 KSLL semifinals where Trinity dominated.

St. Xavier host Lexington Catholic on Wednesday at 7:30pm in a Louisville-Lexington tilt, and a matchup between two of the best teams in the state.

Fredrick Douglass host Collins on Thursday at 6:30pm. This game was a close one last year and has the potential to have a similar outcome this year.

Trinity travels up to the midwest to play Moeller (Ohio) on Saturday at 3pm. Moeller got the best of Trinity last year at home, the Shamrocks will be looking for payback in this one.

Henry Clay host Fredrick Douglass at 2:30pm on Saturday in what could end up being a pretty good game.

WEEK FOUR STORYLINES:

One of the biggest storylines this week is some of the top teams in the state going head-to-head against each other. We will also see if anyone will come out of this week undefeated. Currently, Lexington Catholic and Fredrick Douglass are the only two undefeated teams left in the state. It looks like both teams could suffer a loss this week.
