In today’s recruiting notebook we look at some of the recent commitments made over the past week. Over the past few days we have seen senior (2019) Proctor Academy (N.H.) goalie Will Mark has flip from Vermont to LIU Post and junior (2020) Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.) attackman Ethan Gyllenhaal commit to Bucknell.

2019 attackman out of Proctor Academy (N.H.) Will Mark has flipped his commitment from Vermont to LIU Post, who is moving to DI in 2019-20 and will be known as just LIU. A California native, Mark lived in California and played for Monte Vista (Ca.) prior to playing for Salisbury (Conn.), reclassifying from a 2018 to a 2019, and then transferring to Proctor (N.H.) after last season.

The goalie is quick and seems to be able to make stops from multiple different angles. His hands are very quick and his foot work is speedy, which gives him an instant edge. Mark is able to stop shots on the doorstep, outside rips, and shots on the run off of alley dodges.

Bucknell got a 2020 in-state commitment from Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.)/Big 4HHH junior attackman Ethan Gyllenhaal. The junior is the 11th player to commit to Bucknell in the 2020 class and second this week to do so.

The 6-foot-1, 200 pound attackman has great finishing ability, being able to do so from multiple spots on and around the crease. Gyllenhall can run down the middle and finish inside, cut to the crease looking for the dish, or finish in traffic. He can also rip it from the outside and feed as well.
