We are now through seven weeks of the high school season here in Kentucky. While many teams have stayed at the top there are a few teams that have made jumps or fallen off a bit through the season thus far.

Last week featured a ton of games and a few that impacted the rankings. The biggest one being Fredrick Douglass knocking of Lexington Catholic on Wednesday night. That win moved Fredrick Douglass up in the rankings and Lexington Catholic down. The Knights are now out of the top three for the first time this season, but they remain in the top five. Fredrick Douglass moves up to six as they sit just outside of the top five after that win.

St. Xavier and Trinity are still sitting atop the rest at number one and two, while Collegiate sits in third and Henry Clay in fourth. Lexington Catholic is sitting at five as they drop after last week’s loss.

Outside of the top five, Fredrick Douglass moves up along with Scott County. Tates Creek drops a few spots as well. Also, South Warren also enters the rankings while Eastern drops out.
