
It was the most action-packed Friday night of the college lacrosse season, and fans were not disappointed. We saw some big upset wins and a few regular season conference championships were captured as well.
Marquee Results
Michigan 13, Ohio State 10
It was a big one up in Ann Arbor as the Michigan Wolverines took down rival Ohio State for the first time in program history. The Wolverines got ahead early and it was pretty tight the whole way through, but Michigan pulled out the win. Brent Noseworthy led the way with 3 goals in the win. With the win, Ohio State has been eliminated from the Big Ten tournament.
Navy 13, Boston U. 12
The Midshipmen pulled off the upset as they took down Boston U in a close one on Friday night. Navy used a big third quarter to get ahead and survive a fourth quarter Terrier comeback. Christian Daniel led the way with 8 points (5G,3A). With the win, Navy helped Loyola capture the Patriot League regular season title.
Marist 10, Canisius 8
The Red Foxes went on the road and took down the Golden Griffins. It was a very back-and-forth game, but a big second half run helped put Marist over the top and secure the win. Marist was led by Joe Tierney with 4 points (2G,2A). Marist captures the regular season MAAC title with the win.
