Per multiple reports, Boston U. sophomore attackman will not be returning for his junior year with the Terriers. According to Inside Lacrosse’s Ty Xanders, Gray has not yet put his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Gray has been the catalyst for the Terriers offense through his two seasons at Boston U. The attackman led the nation in scoring during the regular season with 111 points (49G,62A) and was named a second-team All-American this past season.
During his two years at Boston U. Gray was the focal point of the Terriers offense, helping them reach the Patriot League tournament in 2018 and 2019. This past season the Terriers lost in the Patriot League semifinals to Lehigh.
With gray leaving the Terriers have a big hole on the offensive end that needs to be filled. Without Gray, the Terriers top returning scorers are freshman attackman Timmy Ley and freshman attackman Jake Cates.
There is no indication at this time as to where Gray will end up, but he will have two years of eligibility left where ever he does land.
