Holy Cross has lifted the interim tag from Peter Burke, making him the full time head coach of the Crusaders. Burke has been the interim head coach since the end of the 2018 season following the firing of Judd Lattimore.

In 2019 Burke led the Crusaders to an overall record of 7-7 and a 4-4 record in the Patriot League. Holy Cross made the Patriot League tournament for the third time in their last four seasons, losing in the first round to Army.

This past season under Burke there were also four players who were named All-Patriot League selections. Senior defenseman Matt Farrell was named to first team All-Patriot League while Midfielder Sean Mullaney, attack Kevin Kodzis and faceoff specialist Dan O’Connell were all named second team All-Patriot League selections.

Burke has been part of the Crusaders staff since 2015 when he joined as an assistant, serving as the offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator. Prior to his time in Worcester Burke was an assistant at Emmanuel College for one year.

In college Burke played at Bucknell where he was a standout midfielder, graduating in 2014.
