After some more back-and-forth play Chaos went on another tear, scoring three straight goals to help push their lead out to 12-5 lead late in the second. Both sides scored late in the second quarter to make it a 13-6 Chaos lead heading into the half.

While Chaos was able to continue their offensive attack with Jake Froccaro scoring early in the third, Atlas really woke up and started to fight back. Following Froccaro’s goal Noah Richard answered for Atlas, cutting the Chaos lead to 14-7.

A lot of defense ensued midway through the third, following a Miles Thompson goal to put Chaos up 15-7. After some back-and-forth play with some big stops on both ends Atlas scored two straight, including a power play goal to make it a 15-8 Chaos lead heading into the fourth.
