As first reported by Ty Xanders of Inside Lacrosse, Camden Hay has flipped from Syracuse to Albany. The Victory (N.Y.)/SweetLax Upstate attackman is currently ranked No. 39 in the Inside Lacrosse Top 100 and rated as a 4-star.
Hay helped lead Victory (N.Y.) their sixth consecutive Section V championship and second straight New York State Championship this past season. The 6-foot-2 attackman had 96 points (42G/54A) for the Blue Devils as a junior in 2019.
The lefty attackman is a prolific scorer who can attack the cage from both sides of the field. Hay is a great shooter, and has the ability to put the ball in the back of the net from multiple spots on the field. He is also a threat as a feeder, being able to throw crisp passes on a rope.
Hay is the sixth prospect to de-commit from Syracuse since last fall. At Albany Hay has the potential to be a day one starter. He will also join his Brother Tanner who is a a rising sophomore defenseman for the Danes.
