As first reported by Ty Xanders of Inside Lacrosse, Notre Dame is set to hire former Harvard head coach Chris Wojcik as an assistant while Lehigh adds Colgate assistant John Crawley to their staff.
Wojcik comes to Notre Dame after spending the nine seasons as the head coach at Harvard, his alma mater. Wojcik went 65-65 overall as the head coach of the Crimson. He was fired back in May after going 5-8 during the 2019 season, failing to make the Ivy League tournament for the third straight year.
Prior to his stint at Harvard, Wojcik was an assistant at DIII Bowdion in 2008 and was an assistant at Penn from 2009-2010, serving as the Quakers offensive coordinator and recruiting director. Wojcik started his coaching career at Harvard, serving as an assistant from 2005-2006.
Crawley joins the Lehigh staff after one year as an assistant on Matt Karewck’s inaugural staff at Colgate. A very young coach, Crawley started his coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Notre Dame in 2018.
Crawley graduated from Johns Hopkins in 2017 following a stellar career. He now played professionally in the PLL with Atlas LC.
