The New York Riptide have signed goalie Angus Goodleaf to a two-year deal, while defenseman Mitch De Snoo has re-signed with the Buffalo Bandits.

Goodleaf comes to the Riptide following a seven-year stint with the Rochester Knighthawks. During his time in Rochester, Goodleaf was a part of two NLL Championship runs (2013,2014). Prior to his time in Rochester, the veteran spent three seasons with the Buffalo Bandits.

The veteran goalie has tallied 11 wins in his career, including going 2-10 last season with Rochester. He has a career total of 1,206 saves with a .770 save percentage. Last season with Rochester was his best season to date as he racked up 463 saves with a .750 save percentage and 13.32 goals against average.

In New York, Goodleaf will join a goalie room with Alex Buque who the Riptide picked up the NLL Expansion Draft last month.

Buffalo has re-signed four-year veteran defenseman Mitch De Snoo to a two-year contract. The defenseman has played in Buffalo all four years of his NLL career, and has been a crucial part of their defense.

Last season, De Snoo helped lead the Bandits to an NLL Finals appearance while having his best statistical season to date. The defenseman tallied 14 points (5G/9A), chased down 131 loose balls, and caused 21 turnovers.

  1. Big pickups here. Goodleaf isn’t an A-1 goalie, but a solid one at best. De Snoo coming back is huge for the Buffalo Defense, and may help them get back to the Finals.
