Day one of round robin play at the Minto Cup is in the books as the Orangeville Northmen and Coquitlam Adanacs got the tournament started with wins.
On day one, both Orangeville and Coquitlam got wins but it was Orangeville who made the biggest splash. Orangeville steamrolled Victoria from the beginning and never looked back, setting the tone and letting their presence be well known. Coquitlam had a more difficult time as Okotoks gave them some trouble in a game that was back-and-forth pretty much the whole way.
