Each week during the CUFLA regular season we will release the CUFLA Ballers of the week. This list will include four to six players that really stood out on the field over the past week.

Scott Dominey, A, Nipissing

The reigning CUFLA MVP and East Scoring Champion started the 2019 season off with a bang, scoring ten points in two games and helping Nipissing get off to a 1-1 start to the season. Dominey was The Guy for Nipissing in both of their games this weekend, making things happen all over the field.

Dominey tallied seven points (3G/4A) in Nipissing’s 13-6 loss against McGill and put up three points (2G/1A) in their 15-7 win over Carleton.

Adam Kitchen, Trent

Kitchen got his 2019 campaign off on a high note, putting up nine points over two games and helping the Excalibur get off to a 2-0 start to the season. Kitchen helped his team get out to big leads in both their games, and start pull away early.

Kitchen put up five goals (3G/2A) in Trent’s 11-5 win over Queens and four points (2G/2A) in their 12-8 win over Bishop’s.

Jason Barnable, A, Toronto

The attackman looks to be a key piece of the Blues’ offense once again this season, helping them get off to a 1-0 start to the season over the weekend. The 2018 All-Canadian selection showed up and showed out in the win, being a catalyst for the Blues on the offensive end.

Barnable tallied six points (4G/2A) Toronto’s 14-8 road win over Laurentian on Saturday.

Nick Chaykowski, M, Trent

Chaykowski helped Trent get off to a hot 2-0 start, putting up six points over two games in week one. The midfielder was a big piece of both wins, showing off his ability to both feed and score.

Chaykowski tallied four points (1G/3A) in Trent’s 11-5 win over Queens and put up two points (1G/1A) in the Excalibur’s 12-8 win over Bishop’s.
