Andrew Gallant, G, Netherlands

Gallant made a huge difference in net for the Netherlands, helping to lead them to an 11-8 victory over Ireland in their first-ever WILC. Gallant made 24 saves off of 26 shots and even had one assist, as well.

Must See Moments

While day one was filled with lacrosse action all day long, here are three moments that you don’t want to miss from today’s action.

Kyle Jackson Makes Sports Center

Iroquois forward Kyle Jackson made an appearance at the number six spot on ESPN’s Sports Center Top 10 last night after this filthy one-handed finish in their win against Israel.

Netherlands Upsets Ireland

Being at the WILC for the first time ever, Netherlands wasn’t expected to do much of anything like most of the newer countries. They put all the haters to rest on Thursday night when they beat Ireland in their first game to pull off the upset.

Curtis Dickson Goes Full Superman

Curtis Dickson lived up to his “Superman” nickname tonight as he took flight in Canada’s dominating win over the USA.
