Key Games

2/1 vs Hampton

NJIT opens up their season at home against the Hampton Pirates, a team they are 3-0 against all-time. The Highlanders and Pirates have been at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to DI lacrosse since the inception of each program. With essentially new eras starting at both, this will be a key game to get the season started off on the right foot.

2/8 @ Monmouth

New Jersey foes, NJIT has faced Monmouth each year in their five years of existence. The Highlanders got their first win over the Hawks last season, beating them 8-5 at home.

3/14 vs LIU

NJIT will face LIU at home to open up NEC play. This will be a matchup between two new NEC teams as LIU is coming into the conference this season, as well.

4/4 vs Merrimack

The Highlanders kick off their April slate against Merrimack, another new addition to the NEC this season. Merrimack moves up to DI after winning back-to-back DII national championships.
