Second Half Explosion Lifts USA Over Israel

⭐️ Tyler Crompton, F, Finland

Crompton helped Finland best their nordic neighbors on Friday, tallying 11 points (5G/6A) in Finland’s 23-6 win over Sweden.

⭐️⭐️ Illija Gajic, F, Serbia

In Serbia’s comeback win over Netherlands, Gajic made a huge impact on the offensive end of the floor as a catalyst for that offense. Gajic tallied eight points (2G/6A) in the win.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kieran McArdle, F, USA

McArdle stepped up big again on Friday night, helping lead USA to their first victory of the tournament. McArdle put up nine points (2G/7A) in USA’s 18-10 win over Israel.

Honorable Mention: Ivan Alejandro Rojas, G, Costa Rica

While Costa Rica is 0-2 thus far, their goalie Ivan Alejandro Rojas has been somewhat of a bright spot. In game one he looked quite timid to start, but settled down later. In their game on Friday against Austria Rojas really was the backbone of the Costa Rica defense, making plenty of good saves all game. He made 25 saves off of 33 shots in his 30 minutes of play against Austria.

While day two was filled with lacrosse action all day long, here are three moments that you don’t want to miss from today’s action.

Hong Kong Hustle Play

Even when down, Hong Kong was putting it all on the line making hustle plays all over the floor. This effort on the yard sale is second to none.

Daniel Deckelbaum Dunks From Behind

Israel forward Daniel Deckelbaum channeled his inner Gary Gait to pull off this dunk from behind the net.

Curtis Dickson Fake BTB

Another day, another insane Curtis Dickson highlight. Superman faked a BTB and then put the ball in the back of the net during the first half of Canada’s win over England.
