Day six of the 2019 WILC saw bracket play get underway as we move into the quarterfinals of the championship bracket and more placement brackets get set in stone.

The first two games of the Championship Bracket took place on Tuesday, officially setting up Wednesday’s quarterfinal matchups.
In the first game, Czech Republic used a big second half offensive explosion to get past Netherlands and set up a matchup with USA in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. Netherlands now drops down to the fifth place bracket and will face the loser of Finland and Israel on Thursday.
England blew past Finland in the second first round game on Tuesday to secure a matchup with Israel in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. Finland now drops down to the fifth place bracket where they will face the loser of Czech Republic and USA on Thursday.
Canada and Iroquois have already advanced to the semifinals on Thursday. Canada will play the winner of Israel and England and Iroquois will face the winner of USA and Czech Republic. The championship (Gold Medal) game will be played on Saturday night.

In the first game, Austria edged Mexico in a one-goal victory to set up a matchup with Serbia on Wednesday. Mexico will drop down to the 17th place bracket and will face Switzerland on Wednesday.
Slovakia devoured Costa Rica to set up a clash with Ireland on Wednesday. Costa Rica drops down to the 17th place bracket and will play Hong Kong on Wednesday.
In a very tight contest, Scotland was able to get past Hong Kong and secure a matchup with Australia on Wednesday. Hong Kong now moves to the 17th place bracket and will face Costa Rica on Wednesday.
Sweden defeated Switzerland in a one-goal victory to pick a matchup with Germany on Wednesday. Switzerland will drop to the 17th place bracket where they will face Mexico on Wednesday.
