Key Games
2/15 @ Marquette
Last season’s meeting saw Jacksonville lose 14-12, their second consecutive loss to the Golden Eagles. As two programs that will be fighting for a shot to win their conference, this game should be just as good as always. It will be Jacksonville’s first road test of the year, as well.
2/23 vs Robert Morris (Sparks, Md.)
Jacksonville will face the back-to-back NEC champions for the first time since 2015. The Dolphins will also be searching for their second ever win over the Colonials. Their only win over Robert Morris was in 2015.
4/4 vs Air Force
Looking to avenge a blowout loss to the Falcons last season, Jacksonville will start their April slate of games hosting Air Force, a perennial SoCon power. The Dolphins have only beaten the Falcons once in program history (2018) but did take them to overtime in 2017.
4/11 vs Richmond
The Dolphins will host the defending SoCon champions, looking to avenge a 14-8 loss last season on the road against the Spiders. As an emerging power in the SoCon this game is crucial for the Dolphins if they want to prove their worth in conference and get a top seed in the SoCon tournament.
4/25 @ High Point
Jacksonville ends the year on the road against High Point as they look to avenge a regular season and a SoCon semifinal loss to the Panthers last season. As we’ve seen in the SoCon over the past few years, this game and the final week of the season can play a big role in setting the postseason.
