Key Games
2/8 vs Mount St. Mary’s
The Blue Hens narrowly beat the Mountaineers 11-8 last season. While the Mountaineers do lose a bit of their scoring from last season, both squads are looking to continue trending upward and become perineal contenders in their respective conferences. Delaware leads the all-time series 15-3, last losing to Mount St. Mary’s in 2016.
3/17 vs Johns Hopkins
Delaware is 0-10 all-time against the Blue Jays. That record was almost 1-9 after the Blue Hens put up a very strong fight against the Blue Jays last season, losing 12-10. This would be a statement win for Delaware and head coach Ben DeLuca if they can pull through this season.
4/18 @ Towson
In the CAA, things usually come down to the final few weeks of the regular season. Avenging a regular season and CAA tournament loss to the Tigers would be huge for the Blue Hens and help ultimately prove that they are serious contenders in the CAA. With Towson’s loses, this could be Delaware’s year. Towson leads the all-time series 29-13.
4/25 vs UMass
Delaware closes out the season at home against the Minutemen, who they haven’t beaten since 2016. Again, this would be a huge conference win for the Blue Hens and could help them gain a spot in the postseason with how tight the CAA can be down the stretch of the season. UMass leads the all-time series 9-5.
