The Princeton Tigers are the 15th DI team to announce their 2020 schedule. The Tigers are coming into 2020 after a 2019 campaign which saw them go 7-7 overall, 2-4 in the Ivy League, and miss the Ivy League tournament.

Key Games
2/22 @ Virginia
The Tigers’ first road game of the season will be down to Charlottesville where they will face the defending national champions. Last season’s matchup saw Virginia top Princeton 12-11 in overtime with Ian Laviano scoring the game-winner in OT for the Cavaliers. The Tigers will be looking to put up a similar fight on the road against a Virginia team that has a huge target on their back this season.
3/7 vs Rutgers
The battle for the Tots Meistrell Cup returns to Class of 1952 Stadium after Princeton took their second consecutive loss to Rutgers on the road last season, losing 9-8. With both squads returning some great offensive talent, this rivalry game could be very high scoring like in years past. In 97 contest, Princeton leads the all-time series 63-31-3.
4/18 @ Harvard
One of Princeton’s two Ivy League wins last season came against Harvard, beating the Crimson 19-15. Michael Sowers had 10 points in last season’s meeting against Harvard to tie school record held by Kevin Lowe. While Harvard will likely look different this year with new head coach Gerry Byrne, the Tigers will be looking to get their fourth consecutive win over the Crimson.
4/25 vs Cornell
A traditional Ivy League rivalry game, this contest showcases two of the best senior attackmen and pro lacrosse prospects in Princeton’s Michael Sowers and Cornell’s Jeff Teat. In last season’s contest, Cornell won 13-14. Also, Sowers broke Kevin Lowe’s scoring record, which he tied just a week prior, to become Princeton’s all-time leading scorer.
