2020 Schedule Preview: Drexel Dragons

The Drexel Dragons are the 20th DI program to release their 2020 schedule. The Dragons come into the 2020 season following a 2019 campaign in which they went 7-8 overall, 2-3 in the CAA, and lost to Towson in the finals of the CAA tournament.

Key Games

2/15 @ High Point

After opening their 2019 season with a 14-15 OT loss against the Panthers, Drexel has a chance to avenge their loss as they open against High Point, once again. 

2/22 @ Albany 

Again, the Dragons will be avenge an early-season loss from last year as they travel to Albany in their second game of the season. Last year, Drexel held a one-goal lead early in the fourth before Albany scored two straight to secure the narrow 13-12 victory. 

3/28 vs UMass

Drexel opens up CAA play against UMAss, a team they lost to in the regular season last year before upsetting in the CAA semifinals. Drexel narrowly lost to UMass, 13-12, in the regular season and beat them 15-12 in the CAA tournament. 

4/25 @ Towson

The last week of the regular season will feature a CAA championship game rematch between the Towson Tigers and Drexel Dragons. Last year, Towson beat Drexel 11-9 in the regular season, but in the CAA championship game Towson won 16-14, surviving a 5-0 Drexel run in the fourth.
