Key Games
2/1 vs Marquette
It will be a battle of first-year head coaches’s as Andy german and the Vikings open up their season against Andrew Stimmel and the Golden Eagles. Last season, Cleveland State beat Marquette on the road in early March, but Marquette did have a heap of players suspended for that contest.
2/8 @ Michigan
The Vikings travel to Michigan to start a two-game February road stand. The Vikings nearly pulled out a win against the Wolverines last season, losing 10-8 at home.
3/9 vs Mercer (Towson,MD)
Playing at a neutral site this year, these two squads have put up some great fights against each other over the past two seasons, including an overtime victory for Mercer in 2018. The Vikings look to get their second consecutive victory over the Bears in 2020 after winning 12-8 last season.
4/24 vs Lafayette
The Viking’s inaugural senior class will make their official exit from the program against Lafayette in the last game of the season. Having played in 2018 and 2019, the Vikings are 2-0 against the Leopards. Last season, Cleveland State took down Lafayette in a 10-9 win on the road. The Viking’s scored four straight to end the game and seal the win.
