2/7 @ Syracuse
Last season, the Raiders completed one of the biggest upsets on the year when the beat Syracuse in the Dome to in the season opener for both squads. The Raiders will be heading back to Syracuse for another early February Friday night matchup. Can they pull off another upset?
2/18 @ Princeton
This game includes a few interesting nuggets, including the fact that it will be these two programs first meeting since 1929 (91 years) and that they played each other in fall ball. Additionally, both of these teams finished second to last in their respective conferences last season.
2/29 vs Boston U.
One of the Raiders’ four wins and two conference wins last season included a 9-7 victory over the Terriers. However, both teams will look a little different this season with Colgate graduating leading scorer Sam Cleveland and Boston U. losing leading scorer Chris Gray via transfer. However, the Terriers return goalie Joe McSorley who made 13 save against the Raiders last season.
3/28 @ Harvard
While this will be Colgate and Harvard’s first meeting since 2010, it will also be a meeting of former Notre Dame assistants turned head coaches with Matt Karweck leading Colgate and first-year head coach Gerry Byrne leading Harvard. Also, Colgate will be looking for their first win over Harvard since these two meet for the first time in 1924. Harvard leads 7-1 in the all-time series.
