The Albany Great Danes are the 32nd team to announce their 2020 schedule. The Danes come into the 2020 season after a 2019 campaign that saw them go 5-9 overall, 4-3 in the America East, and loose to Vermont in the America East semifinals. Additionally, Albany missed the NCAA tournament for the first time in 2019, as well.

2/15 vs Cornell
Just like the past four seasons, Albany will face Cornell in February as one of their first games of the season. Last season, Cornell narrowly defeated Albany, 17-16, with Connor Fletcher scoring in the dying seconds to secure the win for the Big Red.
2/29 vs Harvard
Albany will face a now Gerry Bryne led Harvard Crimson team early in the season, as well. Harvard defeated Albany 13-12 last season in a game that saw the Crimson wake up in the third to help secure the win, despite a hard fought effort from the Danes.
4/3 vs Syracuse
In a truly historic matchup, Syracuse will make their first-ever trip to Albany in early May to face the Danes. Each of these two squads previous 18 meetings have been at Syracuse inside the Carrier Dome. While Syracuse leads the series 17-1 and won last year’s meeting 13-5, this one will be as hyped up as ever with Albany looking to knock off the Orange.
4/5 vs Vermont
Albany will be looking to avenge two losses against the Catamounts last season. Vermont got their second win over Albany since 2011 during the regular season last year and knocked off Albany in the America East semifinals, as well. Also, this has the potential to be a preview of another America East tournament matchup.
