Key Games
2/15 @ Loyola
The Battle of Charles Street has really heated up as of late. Johns Hopkins holds a 48-8 all-time series lead, but Loyola has won five of the past sis meetings between these two. Loyola won last year’s meeting 18-12. 2020 is sure to be another good contest in the long history of this rivalry series.
2/22 vs North Carolina
Johns Hopkins has had some intense battles with the Tar Heels over the past few seasons, including very close contest in 2018 and 2019. Last season, Johns Hopkins won 11-10 on the road in a game that was played in very heavy mud. With both teams returning some very quality talent, 2020’s meeting between these two should be a good one, as well.
3/7 vs Syracuse
It’ll be a rivalry renewed as the Blue Jays and Orange meet again this season. This heated rivalry has created some instant classics over the years, and the same has been true in recent history, as well. Johns Hopkins and Syracuse have split the past three meetings with Syracuse winning, 14-10, last season.
4/25 vs Maryland
The greatest rivalry in college lacrosse will be renewed during Big Ten rivalry week to close out the season. And as always, this game could have postseason implications. Last season, the Blue Jays defeated the Terrapins 16-11 in the regular season and 12-7 in the Big Ten tournament. 2020 is sure to be another classic in the long series between these two.
