Key Games
2/15 @ Bellarmine
The Bonnies could very well secure their first win in program history in just their second game of 2020. On the road against a Bellarmine team with first-year head coach Andrew Whitley at the helm, both teams will be looking to get an early season win to gain some momentum after poor showings in 2019.
3/4 @ Mercer
Again, St. Bonaventure could secure their first ever win on the road against Mercer, as well. The Bears lone win in 2019 came against VMI, making them a bottom feeder amongst DI teams just like the Bonnies. Again, both of these teams will be searching to get a win in this one and hopefully build some energy while still in the earlier/middle portion of the season.
4/11 @ Monmouth
Last season, St. Bonaventure’s smallest margin of defeat came against Monmouth, losing 7-5. The Bonnies were able to get ahead 3-0 at the end of the first and looked like they might secure that first program win. However, Monmouth went on a 7-2 run, including four consecutive goals in the second quarter, through the rest of the game to get ahead and secure the win.
