Key Games
2/22 @ Stony Brook
Last season, the Bears fell at home to the Sea Wolves, losing 13-11. Despite Darian Cook scoring five consecutive goals in the fourth quarter for Brown, they couldn’t complete the comeback. On the road this season, Brown will be looking to get payback for last season’s loss.
3/8 vs Virginia
This game marks the first time that current Virginia head coach Lars Tiffany will make a trip back to Brown where he both played and led them to an NCAA Final Four appearance in 2016 before leaving for Virginia. In last year’s meeting, Virginia- the eventual national champions- got the best of the Bears, winning 14-13.
3/24 @ Villanova
Brown lost 10-9 at home against Villanova last season. Brown got down 5-1 after the first quarter, but mounted a comeback after beings down 10-5 early in the fourth. Ultimately, the Bears couldn’t complete the comeback as they fell in the one-goal loss.
4/4 @ Penn
In the regular season meeting last season, Penn won 16-9. But Brown put up much more of a fight against the Quakers in the Ivy League semifinals. The Bears cut Penn’s lead to one-goal with under a minute left in the fourth, but they could not tie it up and force overtime as Penn walked away victorious.
