The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) has announced that they will be making a stop on Long Island, N.Y., on June 13th-14th for week three of their 2020 season.

This announcement comes a week after the league announced that they would be going to Atlanta, Ga., for week two of the 2020 season.

Week three will mark the third time that the league has made a stop in the greater NYC area, following two stops at Red Bull Arena last season. Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium on the campus of Stony Brook University will play host to the PLL during their trip to Long Island.

Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium is home to the Stony Brook Seawolves football, men’s and women’s soccer, and lacrosse teams. The stadium also hosted the 2013 and 2014 America East Men’s Lacrosse Tournament. It currently has a capacity of 12,300.

According to the league, the 2020 season will be played over fifteen weeks and stretch from May to September. More 2020 stops should be announced over the coming months as the season draws closer.

Week 1: Gillette Stadium – May 29-30

Week 2: Fifth Third Stadium – June 6-7

Week 3: Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium – June 13-14
