The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) has announced that they will be making a stop in Minneapolis, Minn. for week six of the 2020 season. Viking Lakes and TCO Stadium in Eagan, Minn. will play host to the PLL during their week six stop on July 11th and 12th.
This announcement comes just one week after the league announced that they would be heading to Dallas, Texas for week five of the 2020 season. Week six will mark the PLL’s first ever trip to Minnesota.
“We will offer a rabid fan base the chance to watch the best in professional lacrosse during this inaugural Minnesota weekend. The weekend in Minnesota will also occur during a pivotal time during the league season as teams begin to truly fight for postseason births. We are grateful to the entire team at Viking Lakes for giving us the opportunity to host games at such an amazing facility and we can’t wait to showcase the sport to its adoring fans,” said PLL CEO and Co-Founder Mike Rabil.
Viking Lakes and TCO Stadium is the training and practice facility of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings. The Stadium can seat up to 6,000 and has hosted events such as high school football games in the past.
