The Philadelphia Barrage have engaged in two trades with the Denver Outlaws over the past few days, acquiring attackman Kyle Marr and midfielder Tim Barber.
Philadelphia traded a fifth-round pick in the 2020 and 2021 Collegiate Drafts to Denver in exchange for Marr and sent Colton Jackson to Denver for Tim Barber.
Marr only appeared in four games for the Outlaws last season as a rookie, recording nine points (5G, 1 2pt goals, 3A). Barber was the fifth highest-scoring midfielder for the Outlaws last season. The fourth-year player tallied 10 points (7G, 1 2pt goal, 2A).
While Marr and Barber were seen more as rotational guys in Denver, they can both step up and become consistent contributors on the offensive end for the Barrage, especially after trading away Bryan Cole and Randy Staats to the Boston Cannons.
Denver gains a very similar piece to Barber in Colton Jackson, who is a Denver native and played in college at Denver. The midfielder tallied seven points (4G/3A) last season with the Atlanta Blaze.
