Week five of the college lacrosse season is officially in the books. And while there were outstanding performances across the country, here’s our three stars from week five of the season.
First Star
Mike Adler, Goalie, Saint Joseph’s
The senior out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. had himself a career weekend. Adler made career-high 20 saves in the Hawks’ 10-9 win over Drexel on Friday night and made 19 saves in their 13-12 loss against Penn on Sunday.
Second Star
Matt Gaudet, Attack, Yale
Yale headed west last weekend as they took on Michigan at Orange Coast College (Calif.). The Bulldogs secured the 17-11 victory over the Wolverines and Gaudet was a huge part of the victory. The senior out of Ontario tallied eight points (7G/1A), absolutely terrorizing the Michigan defense.
Third Star
Tehoka Nanticoke, Attack, Albany
While the Great Danes lost two close contest last week against UMass and Maryland, Tehoka Nanticoke went off in both contest. The junior scored five goals against UMass and tallied six points (5G/1A) against Maryland. Nanticoke is currently riding a three-game streak of scoring five goals.
