The Philadelphia Barrage have announced two major signings over the past couple of days, as attackman Tommy Palasek and goalie Chris Madalon have both inked with the club.
Madalon, who will be entering his fourth year in the MLL in 2020, put together one stellar season last summer with the Atlanta Blaze. He was also names an MLL All-Star for the first time in his career.
In the Blaze’s lone playoff game against the Chesapeake Bayhawks, Madalon made 15 saves with a 51.72 save percentage.
Palasek, an eight-year veteran, was a crucial part of the Atlanta Blaze’s offense last season, which was the best in the MLL. The Syracuse grad led the Blaze in scoring with 63 points (28G/35A) during the regular season. He ranked second in the league in points, trailing only Chesapeake Bayhawks attackman and league MVP Lyle Thompson. He was named an MLL All-Star last season.
