Just six days after each of the seven PLL clubs released their official 22-man travel rosters for the 2020 PLL Championship Series, Chaos LC has already made a change to their roster.
Midfielder Deemer Class has been moved to the injury list from the active roster due to a lower-body injury and will not make the trip to Salt Lake City, Utah, the league announced on Wednesday evening. Defenseman Jason Noble has been added to Chaos’ 22-man roster.
Class, who tallied 13 points (10G/3A) last season, was the club’s top returning midfielder following the trade of Myles Jones. With Class’ absence, Eric Scott (10G/7A) and Sergio Salcido (10G/9A), whom they acquired from Redwoods via the Myles Jones trade, will have more on their plate. They are the only two midfielders on Chaos’ roster who tallied double-digit points last season.
While losing Class is a significant hit to the Chaos offense, this move does improve the club’s defense with Jason Noble being added to the roster.
The Canadian and Cornell grad could turn out to be the best cover defenseman on their defense by the end of the Championship Series. In addition to being a fantastic defender, Noble has a box background, which fits in with this Chaos squad very well, and has some offensive prowess to his game that could be exploited with the fast-paced, run and gun style that Chaos leaned on so much last season.
