Games to Circle
2/13 vs Robert Morris: The Panthers open up the season at home against the Robert Morris Colonials. In last season’t meeting, the two were tied, 6-6, at the half. But a strong second half effort from Robert Morris proved too difficult for High Point to overcome, as they fell 15-11.
3/2 @ Virginia: High Point and Virginia have had quite the series. The Panthers first upset the Cavaliers in 2016 and played them very close in both 2017 and 2018 before their memorable, 14-13, upset victory against the Cavaliers in 2019. Last season, the Panthers started hot and took an early 4-1 lead, but multiple big runs for Virginia helped the Cavaliers prevail and secure the, 18-15, win.
3/27 vs/@ Richmond: While the two didn’t play last year with the season being cut short, the Panthers and Spiders faced each other twice in 2019. High Point won the regular season meeting, 15-14, and Richmond won their SoCon title game meeting, 15-7, in a surprising blowout.
