  • Initial game doesn’t count towards conference standings.

Games to Circle

3/6 & 4/10 vs/@ Canisius: The Siena Saints will play the Canisius Golden Griffins twice this season with only the second contests counting as a conference game. While they didn’t see each other last season due to things getting cut short, he past three contests between these two (2019, 2018, 2017) have been one-goal games. Siena won their 2019 and 2017 matchups, 9-8, and 11-10. Canisius won the 2017 matchup 13-12.

4/3 vs Marist: While Siena hasn’t beaten Marist since 2014, this year’s contests will feature two of the presumed best and most experienced offenses in the MAAC. Marist had the top scoring offense in the conference last season, averaging 13.7 goals per game, while Siena has the third-best, averaging 11.83 goals per game. Both teams return their top five scorers from last season, which includes multiple fifth-year returnees.

4/17 @ Manhattan: Siena hasn’t fallen to Manhattan since 2007 and their past five games were pretty big wins on the Saints’ part. But with Manhattan returning a lot of talent, that includes top-10 defense and multiple fifth-year players, this year’s meeting could be much closer than we’ve seen in a while and could have a big impact on that fourth spot in the MAAC tournament.
