Games to Circle
2/24 vs Towson: The Mountaineers have beaten Towson just once in program history. That win came last season. Mount St. Mary’s bookended the first three quarter with five-goal quarters to help push them ahead 11-8 heading into the fourth. The Mountaineers were able to hold off a full Towson comeback in the final period, winning 11-10.
3/9 @ Richmond: Each of the past six seasons the Mountaineers and Spiders have gone head to head. Mount St. Mary’s lone win in the series came in 2019 when they upset the eventual SoCon champs, 12-11. Last season’s meeting saw things be pretty tight early on, however a 6-1 run in the final quarter would be all Richmond needed to secure the 14-7 victory.
3/6 & 3/20 vs/@ Hobart: Mount St. Mary’s and Hobart are two of the NEC’s top teams coming into the season and will play each other twice, and possibly a third time in the postseason. So expect this to be one of the best series in the conference this season. Their last meeting in 2019 saw Hobart earn an 11-8 victory.
