Week six of the college lacrosse season is officially in the books. And while there were outstanding performances across the country, here’s our three stars from week six of the season.
Will Mark, Goalie, LIU
The Sharks’ earned their biggest win as a DI program on Saturday, taking down Hobart 14-12. Mark was a massive part of that milestone victory, putting up a record-breaking, 24-save performance to anchor the LIU defense. Saturday marked the second time this season that he broke his own school record for saves in a game.
Jared Bernhardt, Attack, Maryland
In the Terrapins’ 19-12 victory over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Bernhardt was the spark plug offensively. The fifth-year senior ended the day with a career-best six goals, which included a first-half hat trick, and one assist to lead all scorers with seven points.
Timmy Ley, Attack, Boston U.
On Friday night, Ley continued to do what he has done through the early part of the season for the Terriers: score goals. In Boston U.’s 16-6 victory over the Holy Cross Crusaders, Ley led the way with a record-breaking seven goals and two assists for nine points.
Vince D’Alto, Attack, Boston U. – Nine points (5G/4A) vs Holy Cross
Dalton Young, Attack, Richmond – Seven goals @ VMI
Liam Limoges, Attack, Vermont – Seven points (4G/3A) @ UAlbany
RJ Romero, Faceoff, Providence – 17-for-23 (74%) @ Marquette
