Week eight of the college lacrosse season is officially in the books. And while there were outstanding performances across the country, here’s our three stars from week seven of the season.

First Star

Jared Bernhardt, Attack, Maryland

On Sunday, the Maryland Terrapins continued in their winning ways as they defeated Rutgers 13-9. Bernhardt was very much apart of that offensive output, tallying six points (4G/2A) in the victory.

Second Star

Sean Goldsmith, Attack, Mercer

After being out for the Bears’ first six contest, Goldsmith returned to the lineup two weeks ago against Jacksonville. He returned to full form this weekend, tallying six goals and one assist for seven points in a 15-10 win over Utah.

Third Star

Spencer Rees, Goalie, Navy

In Navy’s first game in a month, the Midshipmen took down Bucknell 13-10 on Sunday. In the contest, Rees continued down the path that he has all season long and racked up 17 saves to anchor the Midshipmen defense.

Honorable Mention

Owen Corry, Midfield, NJIT – Seven points (5G/2A) vs UMass Lowell

Tommy Schelling, Attack, Lehigh – Six points (5G/1A) vs Colgate

Mack O’Keefe, Attack, Penn State – Five points (4G/1A) @ Binghamton

TD Ierlan, Faceoff, Denver – 14-for-14 @ Providence

Braden Host, Goalie, Air Force – 16 saves @ Bellarmine
