Week nine of the college lacrosse season is officially in the books. And while there were outstanding performances across the country, here’s our three stars from week nine of the season.

First Star

Pat Kavanagh, Attack, Notre Dame

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish picked up their first ACC win of the season on Saturday, taking down Syracuse 18-11 in the Dome. Kavanagh, as usual, was a massive part of the Irish’s offense effort as he scored four goals and dished out five assists for nine points in the victory.

Second Star

Jared Bernhardt, Attack, Maryland

Jared Bernhardt led the way for the Maryland Terrapins in their 17-10 win over Penn State to keep their unbeaten streak alive. The fifth-year attackman ended the day with five goals and three assists for eight points. His five-goal performance helped push him to the top of the record books as Maryland’s all-time career leader in goals with 159

Third Star

John Kiracofe, Goalie, Michigan

On Sunday, the Michigan Wolverines bested Johns Hopkins 13-10 to earn their first-ever win over the Blue Jays and record two Big Ten wins in a single season for the first time in program history. In the contest, Kitacofe continued down the path that he has all season long and racked up 16 saves to anchor the Wolverines’ defense.
