The final week of the regular season is in the books. And while there were outstanding performances across the country, here’s our three stars from week thirteen of the season.
First Star
Pat Kavanagh, Attack, Notre Dame
In the Irish’s 22-8 drubbing of the Syracuse Orange, the sophomore attackman put together the best performance of his career. Kavanagh put up a program-recored 10 points off five goals and five assist to help lead the Irish to victory.
Second Star
David Closterman, Attack, Vermont
In the Vermont Catamounts’ 14-13 victory which helped earned them a share of the America East regular season title, Closterman took the reigns of the Catamount offense. The junior put up a career-high nine points off six goals and three assists.
Third Star
Zach Cole, Faceoff, Saint Joseph’s
Cole continued to dominate at the faceoff dot as he has all season, going 13-for-16 (81%) in the Hawks’ win over Wagner to close out their regular season.

Chris Gray, Attack, North Carolina – Six points (3G/3A) vs Duke
Brendan Nichtern, Attack, Army West Point – Eight points (3G/5A) vs Colgate
Richie Connell, Attack, Richmond – Five goals vs Air Force
Evan Moskwa, Goalie, Cleveland State – 18 saves @ VMI
Tommy Lingner, Goalie, UMBC – 18 saves @ NJIT
