Not even a full day into the contact period period opening up for service academies, Joe Albrechi and the Army Black Knights have picked up a commitment from Roswell (Ga.) attackman Hill Plunkett. He is the first true 2023 commitment.

Plunkett is following in the footsteps of his older brother, Evan, who will be a freshman at West Point this fall.

Rated as a four-star by NLF, Plunkett knows how to put the ball in the back of the net in more ways than one. He has a heavy presence as a tradition X attackman dodging and feeing from behind the cage, as well as being able to get to the island and make plays.

Plunkett is coming off a stellar sophomore spring season where he asserted himself as one of the top players in his class in the state of Georgia, racking up All-State honors while helping lead his Roswell team to a 15-5 record and a GHSA 6A-7A Sweet 16 appearance.
